associate professor dai hancheng is a tenured faculty member in the school of environmental science and engineering at peking university. he also serves as a researcher, doctoral supervisor, and director of the department of environmental management. he is a recipient of the national excellent young scientist fund. his research focuses on the assessment and comprehensive decision-making of environmental and climate policies. he led the independent development of the integrated model for energy-environment-economy analysis (imed) for analyzing climate and environmental policies. he has led nearly twenty national and provincial research projects. he has authored or co-authored over 50 papers in prominent sci journals such as nature food and one earth, with more than 7,400 citations on web of science, an h-index of 38, and 16 esi highly cited papers. he has been consistently listed in the top 2% of highly cited scientists globally from 2020 to 2022. he serves as a contributing author for ipcc ar6 and lead author for unep geo-7.
