dr. junjian wang has been working as an assistant professor in the school of environmental science and engineering, southern university of science and technology. meanwhile, he has served as the reviewer of natural science foundation of the united states and more than 30 international journals. in 2015, he received his ph.d. in plant and environmental science from clemson university, united states, and then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in environmental chemistry in the environmental magnetic resonance center, university of toronto, canada. for many years, he has been engaged in environmental geochemistry research focusing on the development and utilization of frontier analysis method on natural organic matter and pollutant and the respond of soil and water environmental quality to global changes and human activities. his reputation can be attributed to his activities abroad, which enabled cooperation withrenowned partner institutions at a high scientific level. he has achieved several achievements on forest fires, arctic warming and sea-level rise resulting from global warming in prestigious journals including nature communications, environmental science and technology, water research and new phytologist.
