dr. natalia rudaya is currently a senior fellow of the institute of archaeology and ethnographysb ras in novosibirsk. her international reputation can be attributed to her activities abroad, which enabled cooperation with renowned partner institutions at high scientific level. thus, during the last 15 years natalia have won several fellowships that allowed her to visit awi potsdam, (daad, 2005-2006, 2010-2011, 2015), free university berlin (intas, 2006-2008), national cheng kung university, taiwan (guest scientist, 2010) and potsdam university (a. von humboldt foundation fellowship for experienced researchers,2017-2019), that is evidence of her high academic mobility. natalia rudaya is one of the leading palynologists for quaternary vegetation records of northern eurasia. she is involved in academic activity about twenty years. the current research interests of dr. rudaya is quaternary climate, vegetation changes and palaeoecology; environmental reconstruction based on pollen and non-pollen palynomorph records from northern eurasia, biomization and “best modern analoque” method, multivariate statistic, transfer function. in addition, she has good skills in other field related to the main topics: archaeological palynology, palaeoecology, phytogeography, ecology of plants, stable isotopes in plants, geochronology. she has an excellent record of publications, given talks, organized meetings.
