on dec 7th, 2020, professor luo yong from the center for earth system science of tsinghua university and the state key laboratory of cryosphere science, went to yuzhong campus of lanzhou university to teach the course "introduction to cryosphere science" for undergraduates.
professor luo gave a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the cryospheric component model and the prediction of cryospheric changes, including climate system model, cryospheric component model, cryospheric process simulation, and climate change attribution, etc. at the same time, by combining with the latest scientific research progress, he systematically introduces the prediction of climate change and the prediction of changes in cryospheric elements such as sea ice, snow and frozen soil.
