professor minmin ma, a professor at lanzhou university and a phd supervisor, focuses on isotope bioarchaeology. her research examines the southward spread of prehistoric broomcorn millet along the northeastern edge of the tibetan plateau and its impact. professor ma has conducted substantial and innovative foundational research, achieving significant advancements in prehistoric cultural exchanges and their impacts. she has led and participated in major scientific projects funded by the national natural science foundation of china, the national key r&d program, and the chinese academy of sciences since 2018. professor ma has published 25 sci/ssci articles as first or corresponding author and has co-authored one book. she also serves as the deputy secretary-general of the environmental change and environmental archaeology committee of the chinese geographical society and as an editorial board member of "geographical sciences."
lecture overview:
professor ma will share her experiences and insights on applying for joint overseas training and arranging studies abroad. the lecture is open to undergraduates who can register via the "to dream space" system to earn a credit for personal growth. attendees will also have the opportunity to receive exquisite small gifts. all interested students from the university are warmly invited to participate.
