dr. han meiqin is a postdoctoral fellow in the college of earth and environmental sciences at lanzhou university. her research primarily focuses on modern river geomorphological evolution and river management. she obtained her ph.d. in geography from the school of environment at the university of auckland, new zealand, in 2021. in the same year, she joined the postdoctoral research station in the department of geography at lanzhou university and was selected for the postdoctoral international exchange program. dr. han has led one national natural science foundation of china (nsfc) young scientist fund project and one gansu provincial natural science foundation general project. she has authored a total of 7 academic papers, with 6 of them published as the first author in renowned domestic and international journals such as "catena" and "progress in physical geography." she has also delivered oral presentations at multiple international academic conferences, including the european geosciences union (egu).
