professor ying guangguo is a doctoral supervisor and currently serves as the dean of the school of environment at south china normal university. he is a recipient of the national distinguished youth fund, the chinese academy of sciences "introduction of outstanding overseas talents program," and the national-level candidate of the "national hundred, thousand, and ten thousand talent project." he has received the chinese academy of sciences "zhu li yuehua outstanding teacher award" and "outstanding graduate supervisor award," as well as the "times china moral education award." his research focuses on environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology, soil remediation technology, water quality improvement techniques, and watershed pollution control technology. his primary research areas include the geochemical processes of emerging pollutants, ecological health effects, and control techniques. he has led numerous scientific research projects, including the national water special project for the dongjiang river, key projects funded by the national natural science foundation, and collaborative fund projects. he has published over 300 sci papers with more than 21,000 citations and an h-index of 77. he is recognized as the "most cited chinese researchers" in the field of ecology and environmental science by elsevier and has been included in the isi essential science indicators' list of highly cited scientists in the field of ecology and environment.
