wu fuzhong, professor/doctoral supervisor and dean of the school of geographical sciences and the school of carbon neutral future technology, fujian normal university; director of the subtropical mountain ecological geography process innovation and intelligence introduction base, won the national natural science foundation of china excellent youth fund, huo yingdong young teacher fund, the 16th the fujian provincial youth science and technology award. he is an expert in the review of the national natural science foundation of china and the national major research and development program, an associate editor of thejournal of subtropical resources and environment, and an editorial board member of plant growth regulationjournal of ecologyandjournal of applied and environmental biology. he has been committed to understanding the accumulation and turnover of forest soil organic carbon and has carried out more systematic research work on the material cycle and migration process of forest soil carbon sequestration and fixation, dynamics, accumulation, and stability of organic matter components. he has presided over and completed or is carrying out more than 10 national-level, provincial-level, and ministerial-level projects such as the national key research and development program project and the national natural science foundation of china. he has published more than 200 papers in academic journals such as ecology lettersbiological reviews, and science bulletin, and edited or co-edited 6 monographs.
