introduction:
xiong liyang is an associate professor at the school of geography, nanjing normal university. he serves as the vice chairman of the digital mountain professional committee of the international digital earth society and the secretary-general of the education committee of the china gis association. mainly engaged in digital terrain analysis and geomorphological evolution modeling. in communications earth & environment, earth-science reviews, remote sensing of environment, geomorphology, earth surface processes and landforms, science china earth sci journals such as sciences published a total of 77 articles and were cited 1348 times. he published an english monograph in the international springer publishing group, and won the second prize in the natural science award of the ministry of education, the special prize of the national gis young teachers lecture competition, the jiangsu youth remote sensing and geographic information technology award, the gis new talent award of colleges and universities, and the outstanding young backbone teachers of the "blue project" in jiangsu universities. he presided over the national natural science foundation of china youth and general project and served as the editorial board member and associate editor of earth surface processes and landforms.
