speaker introduction:
wang guodong, ph.d. supervisor, kunming institute of zoology, chinese academy of sciences. his research interests include population inheritance, adaptive evolution, and the genetic mechanisms of complex phenotypes and behaviors. more than 30 papers have been published in sci journals such as naturegenetics, nature communications, cell research, pnas(proceedings of the national academy of sciences of the united states of america), , and as the first author and corresponding author. won the outstanding paper of sanofi-cell research and the outstanding scientific paper of the third china association for science and technology, the results have been reported in international journals such as nature, the new york times, the guardian, national geographic, and scientific american. he has been selected as a top young talent of the national special support program for high-level talents, an outstanding member of the youth promotion association of the chinese academy of sciences, and a young and middle-aged academic and technical leader in yunnan province. he won the 2019 young scientist award from the chinese academy of sciences. he is currently a member of the second board of directors of the animal behavior branch of the chinese society of zoology and a member of the fourth committee of the biological evolution theory professional committee of the chinese society of zoology.
