lan jianghu, ph.d., researcher, distinguished research backbone of chinese academy of sciences, key technical personnel of chinese academy of sciences, president of geoscience branch of chinese academy of sciences youth innovation promotion association. he is mainly engaged in research on the environmental evolution of lakes and marshes and their reciprocal feedback with human activities, focusing on the holocene hydroclimate dynamics and its synergistic evolution with human civilization in northwest china, and has made a series of progresses in high-resolution lake sediment chronology system, late holocene centennial-scale environmental evolution and human civilization feedbacks, holocene hydroclimate pattern and westerly wind dynamics in central asia. he has published more than 70 academic papers, including 18 papers as first/corresponding author in well-known journals such as geology, earth-science reviews, quaternary science reviews, and chinese science: earth sciences.
