long yi, second class professor of the school of geography, nanjing normal university, ph.d., doctoral supervisor, and famous teaching teacher of the national "ten thousand people plan".he is the director of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching centre of geographical environment. he is the deputy director of the cartography and gis professional committee of chinese society of surveying and mapping, the deputy director of the cartography working committee of chinese gis industry association, the deputy director of the resource mapping professional committee of the china society of natural resources, and the executive director of jiangsu tourism society. he is mainly engaged in the research of electronic maps, automatic map synthesis, voice navigation, and location services, intelligent tourism, etc. he has presided over more than ten projects of the national 863 program, national natural science foundation of china, provincial science and technology support program, and so on. he has published more than 120 papers and obtained 16 national authorized invention patents. he is the presenter of the national-level quality course "cartography", the national-level quality resource sharing course, and the national-level first-class undergraduate (online) course. he has won two-second prizes for national teaching achievements.
