Ahe Khama Heart of a Lion Ahe Khama
The Matabele.......... Matabele Warriors came with their tails up waving shields and spears but they came stuck against the red hot spurs as they were burnt beyond recognition. Vala ngebhetshu the Warriors shouted but they became warriors at the end of the day as Ajax Hotspurs dismantled the determined Warriors to confirm their superiority over the otherwise impressive Magwegwe North side.

Ajax led by the trio of goalkeeper and captain Reward "Rosto" Muza, Nyasha "Mushekwi" Garayi and Onias "Ndongo" Zibande who have just returned from VW Juniors Masters Tournament in Poland were in irrepressible form with Garayi weighing with the all-important goal in the under 14s.

Innocent Kacheche led the way in the Under 16s with an acrobatic finish to open the flood gates for the Mpopoma based side. The Warriors were now on each other's way with spears and shields flying all over the place as the hotspurs became too hot to handle.

Impressive Nyasha Garayi was the star of the show in the under 16s mesmerizing his marker with some fancy footwork before he was brought down in the box. Up-stepped Tamuka Stigo Moyo from the resultant spot-kick to set Ajax on their way.

Warriors got their consolation at the death of the first half as Mbongeni Mafazo Ndlovu hooked back the ball in the D-zone for the striker to smash a powerful drive off the second ball. There was hope for the Warriors.

Impressive Striker Mapato turned from a cluster of defenders with his back facing goal. He took a side step to the right before unleashing a stunner that was deservedly a goal of the day for Ajax.

Man of the match Nyasha Garayi then capped a fine morning's performance with a stunning individual brilliant goal cutting across his marker; he drove into the 18yard area before unleashing a cracker that left the goalkeeper puzzled. 4-1 it ended

The matebele Warriors the avoided a white wash as their Under 18 survived a huge scare with Ajax Hotspurs wasting chance after chance before a howler by Perfect "Nkomoooo" Sibanda and the goalkeeper allowed the striker clean through on goal to tap in. Hotspurs Fought back and Mensah was on the prowl smashing home the equalizer via an indirect set piece. Sam Madamombe and Future then connived to deny Hotspurs maximum points with glaring misses.

After the battle, the battered Matabele Warriors were left to pick up the pieces of their broken shields and spears amabhetshu.

Ahe Khama Heart of a Lion, The Matabele Warriors left a dismantled lot..................... as Ajax Hotspurs showed that the spurs were red hot.
