Mzilikazi II visits Nyamandlovu

Mzilikazi II visits Nyamandlovu
Published: 11 October 2017 | by Mnqobi Ngwenya
The long awaited visit by the King to Nyamandlovu came to pass yesterday. On the way there the King lamented on how the once vibrant farms had become run down and desolate over the years. He was pointing to his team the farms which used to grow tomatoes and supply the whole of Bulawayo and other regions, the dairy farms that used to supply milk and employ many people. The rationale and cause for the RESTORATION AGENDA was loud and clear to everyone.

Nyamandlovu is a prime farm land but now it is laying waste because it is now occupied by people who are not interested in farming, ooh what a waste of this precious resource.

Well, we proceeded on our journey and reached Nyamandlovu town and then took some winding back roads until we got to where we were going. Whenever we were lost we had to use the best African GPS (people) to guide us, all you needed to do was to tell them the name of the village, the man's surname and his wife's surname and that was enough.

There was great joy upon arrival at out final destination. The women immediately broke into song and dance as they ushered the King and his team into the homestead.

After some brief introductions the King took to the stage and addressed the people. King Mzilikazi II thanked the people for their unwavering support. He also apologised for the disturbances at the ZITF on the 12th September 2017 where the anti-riot police barred the meeting from taking place. The King told the people that no one can stop what God has started, the work is continuing and people should not lose heart.

King Mzilikazi II then invited people to come to Bulawayo on the 5th November 2017 to a prayer gathering to remember all the fallen heroes who died for Matabeleland since 1893. He said it is a day to remember those who died at Gadadi, ePupu, Shangani, Battle Fields, Ihloka elibomvu, Gukurahundi e.t.c. The blood of these people is still crying and the King has the duty to bring forgiveness and healing to the present generation so as to move forward freely.

Nyamandlovu is the second place the King has visited after his official inauguration on the 10th September 2017. The first stop was Ezimnyama in Plumtree where King Mzilikazi I entered this country in the olden days.

After the short speech the King then gave a prayer to bless the people. He then shook their hands and took some photos with everyone. A meal was then shared with everyone. As the King was leaving the women quickly composed a song and sang;

“INkosi yiyo le, yiyo     le, yiyo le .....Bayethe Ngangezwe lakhe”

After the song we heard the women saying "asisesabi" meaning they are no longer afraid because now they have a King they can cry to and be heard.

As other claimants to the throne are busy fighting SRK in the papers and on social media, King Mzilikazi II is busy interacting face to face with the people he is now ruling. It is just a question of time before these other claimants to the throne realise that Stanley Raphael Khumalo is their King labo bakhuze uBayethe.
