Siphesakhe Youth Organisation (SYO) would like to thank all the those who supported the 380 Degrees Imbizo Demonstration and our Gukurahundi Genocide play. Special thanks to all our guest speakers, Siphiwe Segodi Thembelihle from the Crisis Committee, Chief Khayisa Ndiweni from Ntabazinduna in Matebeleland, Rogers Mthembi from ANC’s Umkhonto weSizwe, Grandfather and Elder Mr J. S. Silondasilonda from uMhlahlo weSizwe sikaMthwakazi and Mr Martin Phakathi from ZIPRA.
We also thank AmaNtungwa and Chief Gumede for attending the event and the following organizations from Mthwakazi that graced the Demo, MRP, MLF, MLO and The 1893 Matebeleland Restoration Movement (1893 MRM) and other stakeholders.
380 imbizo demo was made a success by individuals who have passion and commitment for the freedom of Mthwakazi in them. A million thanks go towards them. Efforts made by umthwakazireview.com to make this Demo a success can not go unnoticed. Umthwakazireview.com opened an online fundraising campaign with gofundme whose funds contributed to the success of this Demo. The site also gave extensive coverage to our Demo campaign and distributed our flyers extensively. We also thank Bulwawayo24 for its joint work with umthwakazireview in publishing the Demo event articles. Our thanks also extend to ANN7, SAFM, VOA and Cape Town TV for offering us interviews and coverage.
Above all this, we thank the people of Mthwakazi and South Africans, Africans and friends of Mthwakazi who attended the event. It was a blessing indeed to have many of you attend the event in support of uLoyiko. The power to change things resides in each of us acting in unison for the greater good of the people of Mthwakazi. We have done it and we are still to do it together as One People.
Our journey is far from over if Mthwakazi is not free and if Mthwakazi has not received Truth, Justice and Reparations for the Gukurahundi Genocide. We are prepared to soldier on until many South Africans, Africans and the International Community take heed and become aware of this Genocide. We will also soldier on until the long arm of the law touches the shoulders of the Gukurahundi Genocide perpetrators.
We encourage the Mthwakazi Nation to stay strong and not give up in seeking Truth, Justice and Reparations for the Genocide. We encourage Mthwakazi to seek Freedom and throw away the chains of oppression that they face in their motherland. The badge of second class citizenship attached to them can no longer be carried. It is a badge of shame and being dehumanized. It is time to humanize the innocent and restore their freedoms. They are First class citizens in their motherland. Period!
Victory is certain! Together we must overcome!
