The meeting delayed starting by a couple of hours whilst waiting for people to come. Some came from all the places surrounding Johannesburg and some came from Mpumalanga and other provinces in South Africa.
When the King and his team arrived the Master of Ceremony announced to the crowed that had swelled to over 80 people.
When the King's Representative Mr T D Mkwananzi took the stage to introduce the King the numbers had grown to over 150.
When HRM King Mzilikazi II took to the stage and started addressing people the crowed had swelled top over 200 people.
The King thanked the political and traditional leaders of South Africa for keeping the over 3 million people who have run away from their country because of oppressive governments, firstly the British who massacred thousands of our people to destroy our Kingdom followed by the Zimbabwe government who have killed tens of thousands of people through the Gukurahundi genocide and forced thousands to flee their land.
The King told the crowd gathered that his mandate from God is to free the people of Matabeleland. He also told the people to be patient a little bit whilst he together with the people of Mthwakazi work with relevant authorities to bring about full restoration.
The King encouraged the people to behave themselves, to respect each other, to love one another and to take care of their bodies saw that they can come back home to a free Mthwakazi.
After the speech the King asked to bless the people by shaking their hands and long queues formed and people shook the King's hands and took photos with him.
After that the King sat down and the different Mthwakazi groups introduced themselves and performed for the King to showcase their talent.
Induna uGumede who arrived late from another meeting also had the opportunity to greet the people. He thanked the people who for the first time came in big numbers and encourage them to be united and rally behind a true and genuine leader of the people.
The King and his indunas and team left leaving the crowds being entertained by the musical groups.
It was a great joy to many people to spend the day as Mthwakazians in a peaceful environment being given a message of hope and a brighter future by HRM King Mzilikazi II
